I think you could get them with a gated stick shift

That you could.

It’s pretty cheap entry into the V12 Ferrari club. What could possibly go wrong?

It’s kind of odd that the headlights sink into the body after they are raised and lowered. I also think this is a Ferrari that deserves an auto. It would make a great GT car that way.

You are correct.

still not as cheap as the 400i :p

Last Ferrari to be named after a single cylinder displacement, the classic Ferrari numbering system. Same engine as the 550/575M Maranello Series.

Fair enough, but which one would you have?
![]() 10/13/2015 at 20:54 |

Well, the 400i is easier to swap an LS in because it has a GM automatic transmission :p
Although the 456 is a nicer car

Beautiful, underrated machines. Probably my favorite Ferrari.

$47,900 is closer to the first year’s maintenance bill than the actual purchase price.

A steal? Probably not a steal. With a Ferrari, you have to ensure you can cover repairs and more importantly maintenance. It is a fantastic car.

612 or die.
The 612 has seen a huge resurgence of popularity in recent years. Some of that success might translate to the 456.
It’s hard to think that at one time people liked the 456 more than the 612 in terms of looks.

My boss has a ‘99 (I think) 456 GTA and likes it a lot.
